@lorirenee1 I would love to have the answer for that too. Wonderful question. I have tried soft soles and hard soles and orthopedic inserts and gel inserts. I have found nothing that keeps my feet from feeling as if I'm walking on broken glass. If you find something, will you let me know? I am almost to the point of not being able to walk. I'm sure there are others who would like suggestions too.
Thanks,

I know, Carol. I have so many horrible feelings in shoes. Sometimes I feel like I am walking on pebbles. Sometimes I feel like I am walking on cotton balls, or that my socks are all bunched up in my shoes. Sometimes I feel crazy sharp edges from no where. But the best shoes that do not feel quite as crazy are Spencos and Wolkys. The crazy thing is, barefoot, is also terrible, for other reasons. Let's face it, neuropathy is so difficult. Lori Renee

I had a series of sessions with a sports trainer/chiropractor and received laser treatments on the bottom of my feet. AS a result I no longer have the feeling that I am walking on marbles on the bottom of my feet. While I continue ue to have pain in my ankles and lower legs, the bottom of. my feet are no longer a problem

My neuropathy is joined with severe plantar fasciitis, so inserts are necessary. I have gotten relief with SAS shoes. They fit perfectly and have a larger toe box—excellent. Expensive, yet worth every penny.

Carol, my Hokas saved me. $$$ but worth every penny.

I have found sketchers with the soles like in the picture
And helped immensely with walking with neuropathy pain. I wear them every day as house shoes. I do not know if they have soles like this in any of the other Sketcher shoes. I also have arthritis in my feet.

My feet are so numb that I literally can’t feel when I walk, and I’m like a weeble.
I wear New Balance sneakers because I also wear a AFO brace on my right foot, and it has to fit in the sneaker.
At times my feet hurt so badly, that I can’t stand on them at all.
Lately I have been putting Salon Pas pads on them, and they seem to help.
I also take Tramadol for the pain.
Any suggestions for footwear would be appreciated, as I’m running out of ideas.

Personally, I have found that Nike's make my feet hurt more, usually. I generally do okay with Skechers until they break down. If I find something really good I usually two to buy two pair them and then I may be okay for a while, the same with the memory foam.

I find some relief from my homemade essential oil lotion. Research yourself ask Dr. I like garden of life organic essential oil.

Hi i get pn burning I 2 have tried many types of shoes to little avail my sandles which are open on 5 sections on each foot help keep them cool yes but u can look silly wearing these in winter I recently bought 2 pair of sketchers air cool soft shoes not cheap they do not stop the burning but are easily kicked off n on without needing hands so it's less obvious to others I don't think they will help those in pain butif burning is your nemesis they will help hope this helps james ireland
