Can Mayo help with undiagnosed fatigue and brain fog?
My main problem is almost constant fatigue and what I call brain fog. Doctors haven't been able to figure out a cause. Can Mayo help with something so vague?

Hi!!! The answer is yes!! Yes they can! You don’t state your age or gender, but if you are in your teens, I recommend seeing Dr. Fischer! I went to the Mayo Clinic for brain fog, extreme fatigue, nausea etc. They figured out what was wrong with me! Highly recommend going, it gave me closure and it’s helped me get my life back on track! They diagnosed me with Chronic Fatigue and Orthostatic Intolerance! If you decide to go, you won’t regret it! Everyone there is so friendly and caring!
I am a 63 year old female. Thanks for the response. I keep telling my doctors that I think I have chronic fatigue. The last doctor I went to said that HE had Chronic Fatigue syndrome before and he "cured" it with Vitamin D, which just makes me think he doesn't know what Chronic Fatigue even is.
I had a similar problem with doctors. I bounced around from doctor to doctor for the longest time! Finally, everyone gave up and I got referred to the Mayo Clinic! I would most definitely go to Mayo! They take you and your symptoms very very seriously! They take the time to really understand each and every symptom you are having. They are a great place to go! They will meet with you til they figure out what the problem may be. They also provide you with incredible resources to help you along the way!
Great! I assume I need to get a referral, right?
On there website it says: Anyone can request an appointment at Mayo Clinic. If a physician referral is required, our appointment staff will advise you. Some insurers require referrals, or may have additional requirements for certain medical care. All appointments are prioritized on the basis of medical need.
Since most doctors don't really seem to admit there is anything wrong with me, it might be difficult to get a referral. And without a referral, I imagine I would have to self-pay. But I'll keep looking into it. Thanks for your help Karina.
@karina77 That's great that you got an answer to what was causing your problems. Would you mind saying what was diagnosed? Thanks.

she already mentioned that in her first post. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Orthostatic Intolerance!
@backyarder1 Thank you. I have missed some posts recently due to many personal things going on in my life.
