I had bloating and gas all the time after the Nissen. They suspended they damaged the vagus nerve during the Nissen surgery. For me Pepto pills worked best. But Pepto can constipate you if you take too much. Try that or simethicone. It's too early to tell if the new surgery has corrected that.

TU for replying. My doctor had suggested that I take simethicone and I did but it doesn't work too well for me. Before I had my reverse, I saw my gastro doctor who told me that I have an upper and lower digestive problem. I believe that the reverse nissen helped the upper but now I am still trying to find out what is causing the lower. The surgeon told me to try GasX. It helps some but the problem still exists. I also use DGL which helps to alleviate the gas in the colon. So I will keep searching.
