@claytamos

I was going through similar situation with my nissen. Having that done was worse thing I ever had done. Still had reflux but I also had delayed gastric emptying, bloating, hypoglycemia, all from the nissen. I searched and went to a different doctor. On 3/15 I underwent a gastroectomy where they removed 80% of my stomach and reconnected my intestines in a y. Even though it's only been a week and a half I already have relief. I have no reflux, no sugar drops. I now just have to heal

Hi, I had my Nissen reversed on 2/28. It has been approximately 4 weeks and my digestive system is thankful for it. I don't have reflux really at all, but I do still have gas build up especially after I void. Do you experience that? If so, has any of your doctors pinpointed where it is coming from and how to eliminate it? I appreciate any feedback that you can give on this if any. I pray that you would heal quickly and get back to doing the things that you couldn't do with your digestive problems. Have a great day.

@quiteachiver76 WHY DID YOU HAVE 80% OF YOUR STOMACH REMOVED.HAVING IT RECONNECTED TO YOUR INTESTINES HOW LONG DOES FOOD TAKE TO PASS THROUGH YOUR DIGESTIVE TRACK ARE YOU ON ANY SUPPLEMENTS TO HELP YOUR HEALTH. I UNDERSTAND IF YOU DONT WANT TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS THANKS
