hello Gabgirl26, i have an ulcer too,first i had an h-pylori, taken a lot of antibiotics, after i went for a gastroscopy and was told i have an ulcer, i am taking prilosec, but i still have pain in the stomach and also in my right hand side, i was wondering if you have the same symptoms, ty in advance, hope for a reply

I am sorry to hear you are going through that. I have been having so much pain for a while now. I was told after my last gastric emptying study that I have severe gastroparesis but that not much you can do about it. I am not convinced my pain is all from my ulcer because they said it is small. I have had multiple Nissen surgeries and feel like I have never been the same since. I am on Sucralate twice a day which helps with the ulcer I think. Have they had you take anything other than prilosec? They have me on Protonix, Sucralate, and Zantac. I hope you can get some help soon!! Probiotics are so important when taking antibiotics
