Gabigirl26, I just got my post checkup yesterday for my Nissen unwrap. I had been on a liquid diet for approximately 2 weeks. Yesterday was my first day back at eating solid foods. I basically had one meal that I broke into two. When I went to eat the other half of my pancakes and potatoes, the pancakes went down well but the potatoes seem to have gotten stuck. I started belching and all my food came up. Have you experienced this? This was my original problem prior to the wrap. I had my gallbladder removed because of this and then the wrap. My doctor put me on an acid reducer yesterday for 4 weeks when I told him that my pureed meal that I had on Sunday seemed to have a hard time going down. I also experience a lot of bloating after eating. Do you experience that too? As I laid out in my story in February, this all started after my hysterectomy and the wrap just added another dimension to it. I will continue to search for answers to my problem. I really am thankful for all that have been sharing their stories. It lets me know that I am not alone. Keep the faith.
