I had sudden neural hearing loss in 2017, I woke up heard a pop and couldn't hear out of left ear. LONG journey, but was diagnosed with Sudden Neural Hearing Loss. I also have recruitment and titnnitus. I have special hearing aids that have a cross over from my left ear to my right, so that sound seems to come from left also, but is not. I have special app for tinnitus that allows background noise to try to drown out sounds that hurt my ear. I have seen specialist, and regularly go have check ups. The bass sound in my apartment, that I just moved to is so bad I cannot drown it out with earplugs, silicone or solid. I can only sleep with a sound machine right next to my head. No one else can hear it, I had peace for 2 weeks after I moved, and now it is bothering me in my new apartment. (Same building, but upstairs). It is so bad now that I can barely stand being in my apartment.
