@chickenhaslips Thank you for this positive information about the interference of the IT Band issue. I wish everyone had a surgeon who was hanging in there with you through the healing process. Hat’s off to you for your diligence as a patient.

May you be happy and free today.
Chris
PS.....I am framing this one!

I hesitate to ask, but what responsibly do surgeons or hospitals have when things go wrong? I have concluded over time (2 years) that I do have nerve damage in my 2nd TKR. I have had this amazing PT lately who really focused on my case and what I can do to help my condition. And I follow his lead. But I am saddened that my damage may (will) be permanent and the burden is on me to do certain exercise I guess for a lifetime. And, worried if the nerve damage will get worse. It has started weakening a calf muscle when I run. So, let me say I am better off than some in that I can play a racquet sport successfully twice a week (which was my major goal for TKR). BUT MY AIM WAS 95-100% improvement and for it to last a decade or two. But, is there any recourse with the medical professionals?
I am so sorry to hear of the very serious pain and botched surgeries others have had. Wishing you all the best in 2021!
