Did you do anything to help it? I'm almost 7 months out and still going to PT for it. I did find someone who does Myofascial Release Therapy and the most relief I have gotten is 2 hours. She's confident she can help so I'm continuing with her for a while more.

Thank you for your reply Judy. My PT is encouraging me to do lots of stretching these next 5-6 weeks to hopefully improve it. Sounds like after that timeframe, things are more difficult to see results. I’m trying to remain hopeful. I will research myofascial relief therapy. Thanks again! Let me know how things improve!

@judybearden1, Hi there.....and good for you. Because the fascia layers get stuck and form restrictions, Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) is the best solution. It does take time, e.g. months with at least a session a week. I had to be assured that MFR would work so I could get my driver's license. I needed to be able to use both feet. The left knee was a trouble maker and finally succumbed and I am now driving legally and safely. To understand what is happening, view Strolling under the Skin on youtube.

Let me know if you have any questions. I wish you relief from discomfort. However, 7 months out may not be enough.. May you be safe and protected and free.

Hi, gonna jump in here. (R)tka 6 weeks ago. Now wearing foot/ankle brace for drop foot due to stretched peroneal nerve during surgery. No change to that in 6wks. Also numbness of bottom of foot and calf pain unchanged since surgery as well. Because there has been no change at all I'm starting to feel like this may be permanent. I gave read many stories here and would like your comments if you have similar issues. Also, no one has commented on recourse thru litigation...
