I totally agree! There’s a lot of things that I was not told beforehand. I have not had a day without pain since my surgery! I’m almost 4 months post op. There’s days I can barely walk because of the tight bands. I’m still in PT. I’m tired of taking pain pills!!

I am 7 months post op. And understand your pain. Seems like it’s been my own personal hell at times. Several things that have gotten me thru this: first was pt 4 days a week. Not just pt but specifically being in the pool doing my exercises for months. Exercising in the pool for about an hour each day then being on the com machine for another hour.. 2 1/2 months post op I had a manual manipulation. I dreaded it but it ended up being the best thing ever. I can’t say enough how important it is to get into the pool!

Mine has lasted over 5 years! The more I walked the worse it felt! I had all kinds of injections and nothing worked. It's just so depressing. I've had to quit so many things its depressing. My wife had both her knees done my the same surgeon and she don't feel any problems. Good luck with yours.

Hate to make your day worse but I'm in for 4 1/2 years and it's still bad!!! Had all kinds of shots, nerve deadening and nothing works. The more I walk the tighter it gets. I've fallen many times as I dont lift my leg high enough and i trip. Brain says pain, then unconsciously i dont lift it any higher and bam a stumble.
Wish you well.
