@jakedduck1 I'm so sorry about your friend and the predicament you find yourself in. Have you looked into respite care for your Mom till you get back ?or a friend ,maybe call office of the aging they can help recommend someone They have a website you can go on to get there phone number I use to do home health nursing working for an agency they have respite care Good luck I hope this will help
