@bbeebe1943 It is important that you feel confident that your provider is giving you the correct information. It sounds like you have a trust pharmacist. Did I get that right?
Below I have linked a previous discussion related to Watchman. Feel free to scroll through the previous posts. I hope you will find answers to your question.

I'm wondering what your provider said regarding the pros and cons of the Watchman for your particular situation?
Regarding the CBD and blood thinners, I suggest you contact a marijuana medical dispensary and speak with a pharmacist on duty. They’ll be more knowledgeable than a regular pharmacists on this specific topic.
@migizii. I’m not quite sure who I’m answering, but I have a little knowledge about the Watchman. My father-in-law recently had the procedure done and was able to go home the same day (he is 88yr) with multiple health issues. He has had many falls in the past year, so the decision was made that he had to stop taking blood thinners due to the dizziness and lack of balance he was experiencing. I did a bit of research and had some major concerns about the procedure being done in someone his age, but his gerontologist and heart surgeon, both stated he was a good candidate and he made the decision to proceed. I had read the procedure was generally successful for people in their 70’s and younger. My relative lives in the Chicago area where there are many good resources. I hope this helps a little.
