For temporary relief of my handa heat seems to help. My son put some rice in an old T shirt twisting and cutting it to size. About 2 minutes inthe microwave gives 30 -40 minutes of relief. Also use Therabeads that are in something like a mitten. About 90 seconds gives half hour of relief, Found the Therabead mitten on Amazon

Hello, just an FYI about microwaving a rice. We have some of those type of heaters that have different grains inside of them, and one of them caught fire recently and I think it might have been under 2 minutes. They say only do 30 minutes at a time, shake them around, then another 30 but I think a minute-and-a-half is the most they say. Boy it was pretty bad and Smokey and smells bad. Very scary! But that is what I use for my feet and hands as well as a heating pad for my hands and I couldn't be without them! Take good care, Sunny 😊
