@taya Hi there. You may want to ask your dr about prescribing 7% sodium chloride and a nebulizer, Sodium chloride is saline or simply distilled salt water. Many of us in this group use it. It is used for lung hygiene, and an added bonus is that mac hates a salty environment. the inhaled saline does two things; it irritates your lungs just enough to induce coughing, and secondly, it thins the mucous so that it comes up easily. Lung clearance is very important to keeping infections down.
