Im also on xifaxin and the Dr. Up my lactoluse from 45 mils to 60 in april of this year. I go back to Rochester this September to see him

@racing212, Hoping all goes well and you are feeling better soon.
I have no experience with HE, except that my labs were constantly monitored for ammonia levels, and my husband was alerted to possible signs that it was present. So am I correct to assume that you have labs drawn between now and your Sept appointment? Will you need a transplant?
