Speaking of phones, @lioness and @bookysue My son just called me to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. He called on FaceTime (which I was not pleased about because I have been around the house all day and my hair isn't even really combed). He asked if I could hear him better on FaceTime than when he calls regular, because apparently his fiancee's grandmother always said she could. When he said that I realized, I was hearing him better, it was more clear than when he calls on the regular connection! So that is something to keep in mind when speaking to family. I have a feeling my son will be calling a lot on FaceTime now so I had better be ready!

Wow thanks for the heads up here. This is why this forum is so important . I learn something important today. I am going to find out of the setting for FaceTime can be forwarded so to speak to the cellphone setting. If you could though; check and see if lipreading contributes to better understanding on FaceTime -
As for your appearance , your son will still love you whether hair combed or not.

@contentandwell Guess you,ll have to keep your hair comb lol I can beat that I'm still in my nightclothes

@contentandwell @bookysue @lioness Skype is another option. We just had someone present on it at our HLAA Chapter meeting last week. The benefit of Skype is that it has live captions and subtitles. It is a free app also.
