@jadillow I was invited to this group by @lisalucier . I’ve had some anxiety issues this year because of my health and I’ve learned how to contro them. The first couple of times, like you, I went to the ER because I thought it was my heart. ER said my heart was fine but gave a cardiologist’s name so I could get a workup. The cardiologist determined that it was anxiety causing esophageal spasms (throat) which caused pain in the center of my chest. Now I carry Tums with me so I can settle my throat. I’ve also learned “tapping” which I can do when I start to get anxious. Google “the tapping solution “ for info and videos. Both things have changed everything for me. I really wish you luck in fixing things—I know it’s not easy, but just do your best. I’d like to know how you’re doing. This site is great with everyone caring for each other and trying to help. @becsbuudy- I had a bad year with esophageal spasm. They are awful. My GI doctor suggested FD Guard 2 x daily and omeprazole 2x daily. It really worked!
