@taya Hi there. Yes, green sputem indicates infection. Is your antibiotic a leftover from a previous infection? If so, call pr see your dr and get a full prescription. I read on your past posts that you have had bronchietis for 5-6 yrs now. That is not normal. Have you been seen by a good pulmonologist? Have you been nebulizing your saline? Have you thought about requesting a sputem test to see what is going on in your lungs? I can tell you from my past experience that I have had lung infections and drs would willy-nilly just put me on a broad spectrum antibiotic (one that will kill just about any kind of bacteria).

5-6 years is not normal? I thought I would have this forever. What is normal.? I like my dr, he only sees me twice a year. My antibiotic expires in April. I had it for an emergency on a trip and did not need it. I do nebulize and use an inhaler. I have not had a sputum test.
