Medical Research - A Hope for the Future
Sometimes it's easy to focus on the negative aspects of health conditions when you know there is no cure for a condition and there are only treatments to control or alleviate the symptoms. One of the things I like to do is look to the future and hope that someday a researcher will come up with a cure or better treatment. Today I ran across an interesting article that holds some hope for a lot of us.
Shuttling Through Inner Space:
Complex medical issues like transplants, kidney disease, and cancer may be helped by knowing more about how cells communicate.

From Mayo Clinic's Research Magazine
Recruiting Microbes to Fight Autoimmune Diseases ... "Some 10 trillion bacteria, fungi and other microbes live on or in us — primarily in our gut but also our mouth, airway, on our skin, and nearly every other part of our body. They vastly outnumber our own human cells, calling into question just whose body is whose. For decades, this population, called the “microbiome,” was considered primarily a nuisance and a potential source of infection."

@johnbishop Such a good article, John! Hope for the future! Thank you. Becky
Thanks Becky @becsbuddy. I really thought so too. Might not help me but will bring lots of hope for a bunch of folks.
@johnbishop thanks for posting the video, it’s an awakening. If nothing else scares you into limiting sugar consumption that surely will.
