Thanks to everyone for the responses. We just got back from seeing a new cardiologist in St. Louis. He had reviewed my history and most recent cardiac cath. He listened to all my history and felt very confident in diagnosing me with 1. Coronary slow flow and 2. Prinzmetal angina. He offered to do a PET scan and/or a cardiac cath reactivity test to confirm but he said he would treat me the same whether we did the testing or not. He stopped some meds and is starting me on Cardizem and is doubling the Imdur. We will try this for a few months and will see him again. He gave us his cell phone number and said to call if we have questions or problems. We were very impressed and are praying this combo of drugs will make a difference. Anyone have experience with these diagnoses?
