@dawn_giacabazi That sounds horrible to go through glad your o.k. now .For along time when I slept on my side I had to hug a pillow or something in between my breast as it would still hurt ,nothing like the pain you,ve been in

It was pretty rare in my neck of the woods so my docs tried a lot of different treatments. My physical therapist tried to tape my breasts which I can look back on now and get a good laugh but it wasn’t to funny at the time. The weight of my breasts just made the tape ripped my skin. I bled for a long time. Uhh
Then we tried a brace to see if we could secure my breasts. I ended up going to Mayo Clinic when the brace didn’t help. We all got a good laugh at the brace. The problem for a lot of women is when we lay down our breasts separate so it causes the manubrium joint to move which causes the chest wall pain. Which reminds me @klaubi have you tried hugging a pillow?

Hello @klaubi
I am very familiar with coscochondritis!! Uhh brings back horrible memories of the most horrific pain I ever thought I would have to endure!!

How long have you had the symptoms?? Have you tried physical therapy? Please discuss the use of a TENS unit with your doctor before attempting it. It is dangerous to do near the heart and since it is your chest wall pain you are trying to releave they may not want you to use it.
Here is some information on your condition and some treatment options. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/costochondritis/symptoms-causes/syc-20371175

Mayo Clinic treated me for my costochondral coscochondritis. After exhausting all (and I mean ALL) treatment options I ended up getting Fluoroscopy guided injections through the sternal manubrium joint to relieve my pain.

Prayers for pain relief!!

After a chiropractor appointment I felt worse. My coughing from asthma is aggravating it.
