I'm wondering is gamma knife auppoaed to make the meningioma shrink or just stop growing? I still have the same symptoms that I was having before the gamma knife-headaches, eye pain and weakness in limbs. I'm waiting to hear about my last mri on tuesday

My neuro surgeon said the gamma knife surgery is supposed to just stop the tumor from growing. My surgery was in Jan. of 2019 and so far so good. I have an MRI this month to see if it's the same size. I hope your MRI shows it hasn't grown. You should definitely talk to your doctor about your symptoms. Good luck and please let me know the results of your MRI.
