@contentandwell @cmael @rosemarya Working on the Donate Life float was so emotional. Our first time was less than 3 mths after my husband's kidney transplant, and we have done it each year since. We hear stories, meet donor families, other recipients, and share our story, also. This year we were teamed with board members of a transplant organization from another county, who had never met recipients. It was an honor to speak with them and impress them on the importance of organ donation. We hope someday to hear from our donor family, but nothing so far.
