No pets on counters, tables, no pet/food touch and wash your hands.
Many people end up with minor food poisoning because they allow their pets to jump, walk, eat, sit or lay on counters, tables, kitchen chairs etc, by letting them share or touch their food or by forgetting to wash their hands before eating.
It only takes one invisible transfer of fecal matter from your pet or certain bacteria to your hands or food to cause minor food poisoning.
This is very simple. Be good to your pets but always consider them dirty. Keep them off your counters, off your tables and away from your food. Wash or rinse your hands after touching them, wash or rinse your hands before eating and dry your hands only on perfectly clean towels.
Then eat.
Rule this common factor out first if you have any digestive issues.

@Lisa @ techi. My cardiologist & vet helped me with my dogs training. She actually was just in tune with my body initially. She did have to prove herself. She’s not trained to push my emergency button, but she does alert me when I’m about to have an episode. I sure hope you can get help with your dog. I think the comfort from lov a pet is sometimes a lifesaver. People who don’t understand that are missing out on the experience of a lifetime. As far as the germs on your pet, a person probably has more germs on their shoes than a clean pet does on its feet. You have to keep them clean, but if you love them you will want to. Best of luck with you Service Dog.
