@gingerw Hi Ginger, thanks for the info! I hope the weather cooperates. I’m in NC, so I’ll be turning on at 11AM. That is, unless I’m up partying too late! Just kidding. I don’t party! I’d rather be at home with my iPad and Kindle. ....Karen

Yes, @karen00. A Kindle will be the main guest at my party as well. I am looking forward to seeing your float, @gingerw.

@karen00 There is a tradition I have tried to follow. On New Year's Eve set the table with dinnerware, silverware, glassware. This is asking for enough food for the coming year. On New Year's Day, I always try to do each of my crafts/hobbies/interests, to ensure I will continue that habit during the new year. This year it will be reading, journaling, Zentangle, crochet, and sewing. Fabric is cut, scarf on the hook, Zentangle supplies standing by! There is a TV in workroom, so no missing the parade ;))

@karen00 - I grew up in NC. Born in Gastonia but my extended family was from the mountains of NC - west of Asheville. Where are you in NC. Are you from NC originally?
