@leila I am able to tolerate most spices accept for Cajun or things that are really hot. But I do very well with Italian seasoning which I put on my salm on steak, also turmeric, food ole salt & pepper, no garlic at all it immediately upsets my tummy. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help. I really never used a lot of spices in my cooking even before my diagnosis. I also use only evil or canola oil for cooking. Have a blessed day 😊

Thanks for responding. I can't eat hot spices either - never could. Garlic is the worst if you have fructose malabsorption, except for possibly inulin (which isn't a spice or herb). The only olive oil without fruit juice in it (olives are a fruit) is extra virgin or extra light tasting. Getting this all sorted out is something else.
