lol, Holy smokes, I didn’t know you were so far out in the sticks. That’s a Village. That’s not even a good size neighborhood. And I thought Mt Shasta was the end of the earth. I was thinking a couple hundred thousand. WOW, 13 million to 875, Nice that your a small town(?) girl.
Be sure not to blink or you’ll drive right through it.

@jakedduck1 You made me laugh! The last sentence is right on! In fact, there is no stoplight here. At most stop signs, if you are turning right, you don't need to stop, and it says so! Today will be an adventure, I am headed up the road to DMV to get new plates/title for car, and license for me. I grew up in a small town, not this small but still.

@jakedduck1 I’m with you, Leonard. I do love our town, and it was a perfect size and atmosphere in which to raise children, but if I had the money I would move to Boston in a New York minute. These days, as we age, I really like the idea of not being too far from great medical care too.
My son and daughter were both more than ready to move to larger cities when they finished college, but even then, after my son moved to L.A., he once commented that our town had been a great place to grow up!
Leonard, for some reason I thought you lived further north in CA, but you live in the L.A. area? Busy area, for sure, and lots of traffic.
