@contentandwell I, too, get that “yearning” for fast food and Big Macs. It must go back to the teen years, or earlier, when Mickey D first opened. Guess we all subconsciously yearn for the old days! But now, if I give in to my yearnings, the first bite has me saying ‘why on earth did I buy this?’ The taste is nothing like it used to be! And my body can’t afford the calories anyway 🥴

You guys must be in fantasyland going on about Mcpukes. You went from Malt shops and
drive-ins that we’re good, compared to today. It just proves people today will eat anything.
I’m not above fast food but it will never be from there. Anyplace else is better. My favorite is Carl’s Jr. in the fast food arena. Fuddruckers is quite good. But there are many non chain owned places that are a thousand times better, why go to McYuckies unless you squeeze a nickel tight enough to make the buffalo, well, I think you get the point.
Just my invaluable opinion!

@becsbuddy Crazy, but they do still taste good to me! Of course if I do succumb I regret it afterward.

My son, when he’s around, reminds that the pleasure from the various foods that are not healthy passes quickly, and then we are left with compensating for the indulgence. He’s my best cheerleader.
