@contentandwell - I am in total agreement about water aerobics. In fact, one of my physical therapist for another injury several years ago specifically told me NOT to go to water aerobics. He said, you know the exercises - just get in the water and do them yourself - there's too much of a temptation to try to keep up with others and thereby over-do when you are in a class. I found that to be good advice for me in the particular situation I was in!

Today I'm grateful for a beautiful weekend event - the Spring Flower & Garden Expo. It's an annual event and the master gardeners all over town - as well as local nurseries - have all kinds of plants to sell really inexpensively. We bought 2 gorgeous canna lilies (2 for $30), 2 beautiful bromeliads (2 for $25), an Angel Trumpet Tree ($15) as well as lavender and basil and an assortment of little items. So... we have some gardening coming up in our near future. My husband is chomping at the bit.

@debbraw At my club, as at most of them around here, the instructors always say to do them at your own pace and suggest substitutes if something is too difficult for you or something you should not do. For me, at this point, I like vigorous. The only thing I cannot do is when they do the stretch at the end where you bend your leg up behind you and grab your ankle. I cannot possibly bend that far.
