@debbraw

Well, my R&R yesterday worked out so well yesterday that today I felt like tackling all of the finances associated with my knee surgery. I don't know about the rest of you, but I can be a real procrastinator when it comes to paper work. The envelopes from Mayo and from the insurance and from Medicare come in the mail and I promptly pile them into a neat pile on my desk awaiting the time when I feel like I can handle them. Today was that day! I am so grateful that the stars aligned - I had the energy and time and inclination to sort out all the financial stuff and now its organized, bills paid, checks deposited, all GOOD!!

@contentandwell - I don't want to leave this post w/o letting you know how thrilled I was to hear about your visit to your brother. I know that was an absolutely uplifting time for him and his wife and for you. It made me happy! Thanks for sharing.

@debbraw You sound just like me! I love to put off bills! Last week I got the 3rd bill for my PET/CT so I called the company ‘s budget dept. of course I only got a leave message . On my 3rd call when I got the same message, I left them a message saying the bill must not be important because they had never called me back. Still have heard from them! Now the bill has just joined the pile on my chair! If they billed my secondary insurance, they would have been paid by now. Oh well.
