@gingerw- Doesn't it feel wonderful to help someone who needs such support and compassion? I'm sure that she will remember the shawl all her life. Someone knitted me a blanket and my heart just filled up with gratitude and love. It is such giving that keeps us from going crazy I think, and let's us know that we are not alone! Thank you for helping her. She must be very afraid. Will someone be taking her to chemo?

@merpreb We were not sure how she would accept the shawl. She showed me an afghan crocheted by her great-aunt, that she brought to the facility. She was so glad what I brought was not yellow. "I hate yellow!" Glad this was in corals. Her best gal pal will transport her to appts, but we are on standby to assist if called upon. She has a network of friends, I don't know any of them, but however I can help I will.
