@grandmar

Today was a GREAT day!
My hubby and I went for a massage.
We used to go every 2 or 3 weeks.
We found it helped with our aches and pains.
We stopped going because of my surgeries.
But, I got the OK.
My hubby's therapist is no longer there, so I let him use mine and I tried the new guy.
(Hubby did not want a male therapist...it's a guy thing.).
Anyway, this guy works in rehab and pain management in addition to the place we go.
He was FANTASTIC!!! He addressed all that I am dealing with.
Currently, I am dealing with neuropathy of my feet. I could not wiggle my toes on my right foot; my left foot isn't as bad. By the time I keft, I could wiggle all but my big toe on my right foot and all on my left foot. I am excited! I know this probably won't last, but it gives me hop that it is a start.
Just had to share how grateful I am!!!

Happy Weekend!
Ronnie (GRANDMAr) 😎

Ronnie- Such great news. Hoorays to you for plugging ahead and working through everything.

@grandmar Ronnie, that's great that your foot improved, thanks to the massage therapist. My husband goes monthly for a massage, I indulge myself in other ways (very expensive hairdresser, manicures and pedicures occasionally) but do go occasionally. My husband also will not go to a guy. I always went to a woman but twice I had to go to a man and I was pleasantly surprised. Both of them were great.

I hope your neuropathy continues to get better, that must be such a good feeling for you. I love happy news like that, I have the ability to enjoy things vicariously. 🙂 I sometimes think I should have been a travel agent, I would have traveled to a lot of places in my mind.

I too am grateful for something today. My brother has been having some serious health issues so we went to visit him last night (he lives a couple of hours away so we stayed overnight at a hotel). I brought dinner because his wife already has enough to deal with and is a full-time teacher. He had improved tremendously from where he had been a week ago so we were very happy to see him doing better than we anticipated.
