@debbraw

Today I'm grateful for the gradual but significant recovery of a couple of friends from very serious medical issues. One had an artery nicked when he was having a liver biopsy. It was extremely painful, but he's slowly getting back to normal. Another friend had a thyroid nodule that swelled and had to be drained. They did a biopsy when they drained it, but she's feeling positive about the outcome. I've been worried about both friends and I'm glad they are improving.

@lioness - I've had acupuncture before. It is not painful. The needles are very thin. My acupuncturist inserts the needs, turns on an infrared light which is very comforting, and leaves me to doze for about half an hour or so. It's a pleasant experience - not painful.

@merpreb - YES! Definitely feeling more positive. Today I have not taken one single oxycodone. Yeah, me!

@debbraw I am so glad that your friends are improving and that you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

@lioness I have heard many positive things about acupuncture, I would not hesitate to have it if I had a condition it might help.
