@lioness - I LOVE your new profile photo. I think I had my hair cut a lot like yours today! Also, didn't know about Vicks on the bottom of feet. Will try it tonight. (already put it in front of my nose)

@hopeful33250 - I'm using nasal spray. And the surgical nurse told me I can have antihistamines... so I'm taking Allegra (OTC). Hoping this stuff builds up in the body because I'm still feeling fairly rough.

@parus - your comment was the essence of optimism... you have described 17 degrees in the absolute best way I've ever heard. I love it!

For today, I'm grateful that all those federal employees are back to work. This is not in any way political. Republican, Democrat or whatever... My heart just ached for these people who were out of work for weeks through no fault of their own.
