Yeah and all the home cooked meals your all scrarfing down is really bringing this supposedly happy Californian down.
I’m as useless in the kitchen as a screen door on a submarine.

@jakedduck1 Since there are so many things my diet has to limit, it is easier to cook at home most of the time. Really, my cooking is simple, nothing fancy for this gal.

@jakedduck1 Jake, I love that expression, I will have to remember it and use it.
You do not sound as if you enjoy CA. Have you thought of moving? What part do you live in? I know it gets pretty hot when you get away from the coast. I doubt you would enjoy New England though. I do like having seasons so I think if I was to move south the furthest I would go would be Virginia.
