@gingerw I love Santa Barbara. I think with my son there for 14 years, and my stepson was in the SF area, we have seen more of CA than most people who live there -- all the way from Mendocino to San Diego.

@contentandwell I grew up in Goleta, about 10 miles north of Santa Barbara. A small ranching/farming town back then, going to Sta Barbara was our trip "to the big city". I much prefer small towns.

@@Contantandwell,@gingerw Im the same way when I was traveling back and forth I saw from San Francisco to San Diego Howie drove me to Marin Co.and the redwoods hugh tree's I won't return to Pa or east to much humidity also.
