@contentandwell @lioness I lived in the South Bay area 1985 to 1998 before moving to northern Santa Barbara County. Walked the strand a lot, did Tai Chi at Torrance Beach every Saturday morning at 8:45 with a group. Each area has its own pluses and minuses. Since July last year, I live in Covina, not near the ocean at all. Like @lioness said, today it is raining. Good for curling up inside with a cup of hot tea and a book or craft of choice ;))

@gingerw I love Santa Barbara. I think with my son there for 14 years, and my stepson was in the SF area, we have seen more of CA than most people who live there -- all the way from Mendocino to San Diego.
