@lioness Oh, so you are fairly close to Hermosa Beach. My son lived two blocks from the beach so when we visited we always walked the strand. One thing for sure, you don't choose to live that close to the beach unless you are in fairly good shape and look great. I recall one of the Olympic volleyball players lived right on the strand. I think they do miss the beach but Denver is certainly an easier place to own a home, and much less congested.

@contentandwell @lioness I lived in the South Bay area 1985 to 1998 before moving to northern Santa Barbara County. Walked the strand a lot, did Tai Chi at Torrance Beach every Saturday morning at 8:45 with a group. Each area has its own pluses and minuses. Since July last year, I live in Covina, not near the ocean at all. Like @lioness said, today it is raining. Good for curling up inside with a cup of hot tea and a book or craft of choice ;))

@Contantandwell And less expensive Im sure Ive been to Santa Monica beach and San Pedro not sure if I was at Hermosa My sons friend lived there for awhile we did visit briefly.
