Dang! I have been so busy today I have not had time to be grateful - nor to read one post! I'm just checking in to say I have completed my New England Seafood Casserole, wild rice with mushrooms, asparagus, and for dessert, bourbon cake. Ya'll wish me luck! My little dinner party is starting in one hour.

I am grateful for the vision of your dinner! I made scones before church yesterday - a fun bag of mixed cherries, cranberries and golden raisins from Walmart got me inspired. Should have saved some home for myself - they were tasty - but grateful for the church family I have to share them with. My mother's brain bleed post stroke is gone completely, and dad and sibs are still all communicating fairly calmly about next steps. Yeah! Saw a wonderful Christmas program yesterday, and grateful for a job to go back to on Monday morning.
