Weakness in entire body
About 5 years ago I've been extremely weak all my muscles especially the joints have been hurting. It gets so bad that sometimes I can no longer walk or move the doctors say I have nothing, but that's not possible if I feel the pain. The pain is not always present but it gets worse when I get colds. I also have respiratory problems in where I can't take a full breath, I've gotten chest x-rays and nothing, buy I am constantly wheezing. I've been tested for lupus as well juvenile arthritis and all has come back negative so I've become extremely desperate and no longer know what to do.

I have some ideas, but since I am not in the medical field I will be quiet there. What kinds of specialists have you seen? A Rheumatologist might be worth while. If it were me I would head to the Mayo clinic or another large medical center. I have Poly Myalgia. I have had it for 14 years. I was misdiagnosed 4 times by good doctors before am ANP got it right.
Well you see the thing is I am in Canada and you have to be referenced right? Anyways so I have a doctor that supposedly has referenced me to a rheumatologist but it has been over 2 months and I have been calling many times and I still don't have an appointment. But thank you, I've really been thinking that I should go to Mayo Clinic but sadly I lack the money.
@anonymous041116 I agree with edithmiller you should see specialist like internal Dr or ,cardiologist see what is going on with your breathing and lung Dr. You are your own advocate so keep asking till you get answers
That's the problem as I have seeing various specialists but none are truly invested they just say Oh you know take some Advil or whatever
@anonymous041116 I have various problems one is fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis there are things you can do that arent expensive most of are pain is caused by inflammation Ice is good for this also ginger and tumeric For the joints
I use glucosamine here is a website that has naturel products http://www.nicch.nim.gov just click on condition and it will bring it up I can but ginger-Tumeric tea from Amazon or Trader Joe's if you have one but Amazon just order it and glucosamine there or most drugstores.
You DO NOT need a referral for an appointment at the Mayo Clinic. Just call the clinic directly your self. Tell them you want to make an appointment.
I'm talking about here in Canada, and it's not that easy to go to Mayo Clinic and make an appointment

If you could get into Mayo would your insurance pay for it?
The possibility of multiple diagnoses may exist and perhaps your doctor isn’t willing too devote the time necessary to figure it out.
Best of luck,
Jake
Call Mayo Financial office direct. They are well worth calling. The will answer ALL of your questions.
They won't always take you . I called down told them about my burst l4 and how I have been in a turtle shell for 5 mo. My Dr recommended 3 level fusion. I have RSD chronic pain disease in legs . I am afraid if they open me up and move muscles it will get much worse. Told them I was looking for opinions for other options. They sent me a letter back and said they could not offer me other offers.
