@beanie300 @hopeful33250 My mom had an overactive parathyroid problem and it caused her blood calcium levels to be very high and it pulled calcium out of her bones. She had one of the four parathyroid glands removed and they tested blood levels while she was on the operating table to make sure that it was the correct one.
