@rashida

@parrotqueen how much turmeric do you take per day? I live in Toronto and I don’t think we get the brand you take, here. I just started on Prolia in January (next dose in July). My doctor recommended it to prevent fractures because of my age (75 this year).

@rashida Just butting in to say I just started Curcumin Ultra by AOR, after researching extensively. I'm in Canada too. I bought the 60 tablet bottle at our local Healthyway Foods, for about $60.00. Pricey, but we get kinda' desperate.
My G.I. approves, because it's good for inflammation. Turmeric is a blood thinner, and I'm on medication for that, so have to be careful. I only take one capsule a day.

You can get my brand off Amazon or through Starwest-Botanicals. It is about $45 for 500 capsules of 500 mg each. I have a dreadful skin disease with no cure or treatment - and turmeric stopped that disease! I take 2,000 - 3,000 mg per day. It doesn't cost as much as other brands and yet it is the freshest, most potent of them all. Cucumin is a component of turmeric - and I believe this brand is rich in cucumin. It's the best I've found and I've been taking it maybe 20 years. I'd say 15-20 years at least;. I tried all kinds. It is the strongest anti-inflammatory food of all. You may not need any other blood thinner depending upon how much turmeric you take. You can also get 120 capsules for a lot less money if you just want to try them.
