Hello dublin18 and @parrotqueen, yes, the osteoporosis Fb site is great. I haven't spent enough time there. I think I have over 500 emails from our Neuropathy group so I am so far behind that I can't possibly catch up. I fear someone will go unanswered 🥺. Wow, that's a lot more Boron than we thought we could take safely!! Was there a lot of people who are taking 120mg. daily? Have their scans improved? Have they stopped fracturing? There are some in this group that believe strontium is good. I've read your persuasion on it. I've added baby spinach to my diet almost daily and am eating more green leafys. So wish I had learned all the things I 've learned from Connect family before losing so much weight on such a low calorie diet! GGggrrr! 😠

Hello dublin18, are you from or in Dublin, Ireland? If I haven't already said it, WELCOME to the group!! Hope you find as much support, encouragement, information, and inspiration that I have found here.

Warmest wishes, Sunnyflower 🌸🌹😊

@sunnyflower Hi I've been taking Boron through what parrotqueen said but only take 12 mg it seems to be enough for me I've been on this and the other supplements and my hip doesn't hurt at all I haven't had a dexascan yet but feel better as well as it helping with O.A. I think just experiment to see what AMT works for you

Be careful with that much spinach - it has oxalates which cause kidney stones! I go with arugula. Dr. Jorge Fleches (on You Tube) was the first doctor I knew of taking 120 mg of boron daily. Since then I have met a lot of people with different diseases (not just osteoporosis) that take 120 mg per day. I am sicking with 24 mg per day and I've stopped fracturing. I did stop taking calcium as I was having heart problems. I was going into v-tach. Calcium is powerful stuff and you should never take it without taking vitamin K2 (mk7, mk7). I take InnovixLabs brand of vitamin K2. I'm sure there are other good ones. One thing the nutritionists say is don't take calcium that has magnesium. Vitamin D3, and K2 all mixed in - take each one separate. They recommend oyster shell calcium - nothing fancy. They also say to keep track of how much you are getting in your food and subtract that out from any you are taking in pill form. Also, you need vitamin K and vitamin K2 for different things - The K2 should be (mk4, mk7, or both) as this is the form that humans absorb. If you don't like the taste of natto, you should get it from a capsule (they are tiny). I pay $20 for a three-month supply. I'm going to call today to make an appointment for my DEXA scan - my old order timed out so had to wait till it was called in again. But I have stopped fracturing. I will keep you posted. I got my second vaccination for Covid yesterday so I want to go in a week or two at the earliest. Dr. Fauci says we are probably going to have another surge in 2-3 weeks.
