@hopeful33250 They generally do a DEXA after you have been on Tymlos for a year. I had my last DEXA in the beginning of December. I thought I would start with Tymlos in January but things got bogged down with Medicare approval of it, and then getting it delivered from a CVS Speciality Pharmacy.
So far, so good. Last night just very mild light-headedness, but not bad.
When I was on diclofenac gel for my bursitis that was causing extreme dizziness in the morning. I had no idea what the problem was and then I researched diclofenac (same as Voltaren, diclofenac is the prescription name of it) for something else and discovered that dizziness is a rare side-effect. I stopped using the gel and no more dizziness! Too bad because it was helping with the bursitis pain. It never occurred to me that a gel I was applying to my hips could cause dizziness but those gels do get absorbed into your system.
