Lost a good friend today to Myelodysplastic syndrome. She and I both became ill at the same time, went through our journeys together, and leaned on each other through the highs and lows. Unfortunately, while I made it to the other side, she did not. She was such an inspiration!!! She fought so hard, had such a positive attitude, and never wavered in her faith even once, to the very end. Now I know survivors' guilt is a real thing, because it is weighing heavily on me at the moment. I share this here, because I know all of you will understand more than anyone else I know....Rest well my friend, you have earned it ❤️
