@ashred Taking Mucinex or the generic might help get the fluid out of your lung. You might also want to see a physical therapist because they have ways to help expel mucous. I hope you feel better. I've had re-occurring issues with bronchitis that starts with allergies that create too much phlegm and it moves to an infection. Controlling allergies is my best defense. I have allergic asthma which doesn't help.

And how about seeing a naturopathic doctor.I stress doctor because they have university degrees. Yes, it costs maybe $60 for half an hour consultation but it is money well spent. You and all of us could do with lifestyle changes and supplement advice. At my naturopathic doctor I had a blood test for allergies/intolerances (interesting what it revealed) and a poop test since I have been on many, many round of antibiotics for recurrent UTIs (and just found the cure) and need to set my gut biome to rights; aka immune system since it is 80% in the gut. We have one life to live and we should make the best of it for our own sake and also for our families.
