Hi everyone. I just began Tymlos today -- about 3 hours ago to be exact. I have osteoporosis and finished two years on Prolia. My bone density did increase over the first year with Prolia, but my rheumatologist believes that I may have plateaued on it. I will likely return to it in the future (I am 58) but in the meantime, she would like me to do two years on Tymlos to build bone strength. Apparently, Tymlos does not always increase density measurably, but it is better at making bones strong than Prolia is. I'm happy to hear that the injections are not an issue for most of you. I think I do feel some side effects today -- some fatigue, lightheadedness, and nausea. Makes me feel that a nighttime administration will definitely be best as I would not like to feel this way as I was starting my day. Did any of you experience that reaction, and did it get better over time?

I just started a week ago. I have a little funky feel, but I think some may be my nerves as well. It passes within 15 minutes or so and then I’m good to go. For some reason it pumps me up mentally each morning when I give myself my dose of bone:)) More people seem to like to do the night time routine so I’m not the norm. I can’t comment yet in effect wearing off but I think I’ve read from some that was the case. Good luck!
