Hi jeannie! Thank you for the thoughts. You know, if I were much older, say 70's (I'm 59), I think I'd opt more for quality of life over quantity. That plays quite a bit into the idea of putting up with whatever side effects they throw our way until you find you're living to control the pain rather than just living. I think that makes sense. @mom23boys I agree with you 100%. I was diagnosed at 64 I'm 67 now. The doctors explained that the medication would lower my chance of recurrence by 50%. With a low oncotype score I figured I was in a pretty good place to take a chance. I will say that many days I question and hope that I made the correct choice and that works on my nerves.
