Absolutely, Pearlbaby!👍 I work in the operating room so I see no natural light during my shift, which is hard. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to invest in a full spectrum light. Have you ever tried one?

Yes. I've had one from the Sunbox company for about 26 years. When I lived in KCMO winters were really hard on me. By February or March my blood pressure would be so low I could hardly lift my hands to put them on the keyboard. It took several years to find a doctor who knew I had SAD. He wrote me a prescription for a light box. I never did get the imsurance company to help pay for it but I think things have changed a lot. It saved my life.
I'd talk to your doctor and I suggest you go to the Sunbox company's website and read their Owner's Manual section. There's a lot of good info there including a diagnosis number for your doctor if s/he feels light therapy would help you.
Even if light therapy is not called for in your situation, trying to get outside at least during your lunch break may have benefits in just taking you out of your work environment so you can go back for the rest of your shift feeling a little more charged up.
I hope this helps you find a path to feeling better whether through light or another channel.
