Hey Jim, so good to get an update from you. Here are a couple of additional discussions on Connect that may interest you:

- radiation burns https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/radiation-burns/ Members share tips on managing, soothing and preventing radiation burn.
- Talking Frankly about Living with Advanced Cancer https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/talking-frankly-about-living-with-advanced-cancer/ Members say what's on their mind, no judgement. It can be good to have a place to talk about the stuff that one is reluctant to share with those close to them.

Welcome to Connect, @bond007 (I can't believe your username wasn't taken already, LOL) Do you have throat cancer or a head and neck cancer?

I have HPV throat cancer consisting of a tumor near my left tonsil plus some small lesions in my lymph nodes on the right side. I am at radiation treatment 18 today and just seeing radiation burns beginning on both sides of my throat. I am treating the burn with aquaphor.
